By changing the user interaction, the form of the pencil sharpener drastically changes. It’s shape is simplified and abstracted; making an intriguing and functional piece of office decor. The century-old design is gone, now its time for fresh take!
WHAT I LEARNED FROM THIS PROJECT
I learned how to update and innovate an existing design by developing a new user interaction. With this, the updated function drastically changed the form. I also learned how to create realistic and finished models.
